Why Buddha denied Atma? Why he said more about Min
It seems Buddha denied the existence of Soul.Atma. In the meanwhile he seemed to have spoken more on mind. Is mind supreme? Please enlighten.Mr Kartha.

Buddha denies Atma !
Atma is not distinct from anything in this universe. So it cannot be defined. It is everything. And everything is in It. So nothing to be said of Atma. Those who dont
know anything about Atma speak much about Atma, thinking that their definition
is sufficient. It is not.Atma cannot be defined.Nothing to be said in comparitive sense,
No comparison with it because nothing is there seperate from it or devoid of Atma.
So Gautama Buddha realised that nothing was to be said on Atma. Whatever said would be a miniature of what Atma is.So he was silent. But when King Bimbisara
asked about Atma, he might have got irritated and hence denied the existance of
Atma. It was true.Atma cannot exist when there is nothing distinct from Atma.
Bimbisaras dialogue got misintrepreted and spereaded as Anatma. This is the story
whether you believe or not.
Mind. That is the only companion man has on earthly as well as eatherly sojourn.
So Buddha concentrated on Mind. It is Mind that makes things and persons feel and
look distinct.
Okay? sorry for the delay.
